Seminar in Evolutionary Ecology of Infectious Diseases
Students will review and discuss recent and classic publications covering major themes in the field of infectious disease biology that are shared among plant, animal and human pathogens, such as pathogen virulence, host resistance, and factors driving epidemics and pathogen emergence. Students will establish linkages between older publications and new research findings. The course will be structured as indicated in the table shown below. - Length should be approximately 25 minutes
- Should include a second related paper
- Contact the instructors to discuss the topic before the presentation if needed
